Your questions before you ride
Can I pay in cash?
Yes. On rides that allow it, pay your driver in cash at the end of the trip. The app shows the agreed fare so you both know the amount.
Is it safe?
Safety is built into every ride: verified drivers, live trip-share, an SOS button, ride-check, masked calling and 24/7 support. You see the driver's name, photo, vehicle and rating before they arrive.
How does negotiation work?
Instead of accepting a set fare, you name the price you want to pay. Nearby drivers see your offer and can accept it or counter. You agree before you set off.
Is mobile money really supported?
Yes. Pay straight from your mobile money account where the service is available — the app guides you through confirming the payment on your phone. Card, cash and the Teriya wallet work too.
Can a fixed price change mid-trip?
No. A fixed fare is shown before you book and doesn't move during the trip — unless you change the ride yourself, for example by adding a stop or changing your destination. The app then shows the new total.
