A word, not a logo
Plenty of apps invent a name and hope it sounds modern. We did the opposite. We started from a word people already live by, and asked whether we could build a company worthy of it.
Teriya carries a responsibility. If we put it on the app, we have to mean it.
A ride is a relationship
When you get into a car with someone, that is not a transaction between a user and a unit of supply. It is two people, sharing a few minutes and a bit of trust.
Treating a ride as a relationship rather than a number changes how we design everything — from how drivers are paid to how we handle the day something goes wrong.
Solidarity, built into the product
Solidarity is not a slogan for us; it shows up in decisions. It is why drivers keep more of what they earn, why members get grace when plans change, and why safety tools are standard, not a premium add-on.
The name keeps us honest. If a choice does not serve the people who keep the city moving, it is not very teriya.
Mobility that belongs to its people
We believe mobility should belong to the people who power it — the riders, and the drivers earning a living behind the wheel.
That is what teriya means, and it is the standard we hold ourselves to. Take a trip and judge us by it.
